Wild Card Week

For this week, I wanted to try out the laser micromachining. The machine used is an Xtool. To start, I inserted the piece of metal that I wanted the engrave. The machine can measure the thickness, and once it does, it shows an image of the machining area, where you can place what you want engraved.

I uploaded the image in the resources to the GUI. Since I wanted to do an image, I select "surface only" and play around with the settings. I ended up with around 500 PPI, Fiber Laser, and around 75-80% max power.

Then the file is sent to the tool, and after a while, it was done.
