Week 3: 3D Scanning and Printing

In one sentence: Enjoyed the help and company of others to find joy in creating something very, very simple.

Reflection: Although I don't think I'm pushing my creative limits yet - or matching the creative drive of my peers - I am getting better at making things, which is a attributable to better time management and stacking learning.

Things Learned and Things Made

We have a dramatic improvement over last week, but there is still progress to be made!

Individual Assignment

1. Scan an object - done, thanks to Diana
2. Design and 3D print an object that could not be made subtractively - Thank you to Ahzin for the help here! I wanted to make some kind of hollow sphere, which I felt really represented something that could not be made subtractively. I used Rhino to make a sphere, sliced it along two axes, and replaced the slices with rings.
