Electronics Production

This week's individual project is not complete. Sloan has a break from classes next week, and I plan to complete this assignment then.
Remediation plan:
Monday - spend 3 hours in arch lab, attend Alfonso's office hours 3:30 - 4:30. Task due out: assembled board
Tuesday - spend 3 hours in arch lab. Task due out: soldered board

(Top left) Turning mistakes into content / a public apology: I mishandled the 1/32" bit meant for cutting and, as promised, it broke.

(Top right) Counting chickens before they hatch: Pictured moments before declaring to Nate and Gert that I was going to be done soon.

(Bottom left) Learning by observing: Echoing early sentiment in the class, it is so much better to learn and struggle in the lab and learn alongside classmates. Nate and Gert and Ahzin using the monoFab made it a lot easier for me to trouble shoot.

(Bottom right) It wasn't the tape! : My board was thrown off track (see above), and at first I thought it was because my tape was off. But, after a subsequent failure, I now suspect that I had the drill bit too low in the socket.

Adapting the shape of the board

I'd like to make PCBs a central part of my final project, and so eventually printing triangular boards will be important. The difficulty I faced this week affirmed my goal to make acrylic PCBs.
