FABACADEMY 2023 Final Project
Welcome to my HTMAA page. I'm a graduate student with CBA and a bioartist. This means that I was media-artist
for a long time and then I got bored working with just screens and tech and making philosophical statements about life, and so I tuned to nature and living things.
I'm happy you traversed my little puzzle and ended up here. maybe (hopefully)there will be many more puzzels to come in the other pages
Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of magic.
And I never meant parlor tricks, I meant genuine magic, which felt so connected to nature.
I wanted fire to burn from my finger-tips; For wind to obey my commands; I would hear whispers between the leaves; and shadows out of the corners of my eyes.
My desire was selfish, but it was all-consuming;
To be included in the wider communications between nature, technology and also myself.
I spend my childhood imaging myself being able to interact with trees and plants, for them to sense my presence and for me to be a part of them.
I became a filmmaker to be able to bring these worlds to life, but I became an artist to bring the feeling and experience of it to life.
And I became fascinated with technology, because it was the only space I ever practiced in that felt even remotely capable of birthing this future into reality.
