For this weeks wild card week I did two things. I explored the Zund with Alfonso, and tried to make edible origami.
And also I tried Quentins process of drawing to 3D model, which was a surprisingly fun experience!
First up, let's discuss the workshop with Quentin. This is a cool technology that he started developing that I find super engaging, as I know a lot of people (including myself for the longest time) who really struggle with 3D modeling. So I am always looking for possible changes and additions on how to change the experience for people.
You can find the documentation for Quentin’s research here:

1. Quentin’s work features a frame in which you draw the profile and the cross-sections of the item you would like to model.
2. After this, we take a picture of the frame and run it through the script, which isolates the lines in real size!
3. After this, it runs a second script which creates the model, and we pull it into Blender.
4. In Blender, we then added a twist to the vase to make it somewhat more interesting.
5. This created an STL that I then pulled into Prusa Slicer. And printed it!
for the printer settings it's important to remember that you can also use the settings to define the width and thickness of your vase etc.
OK for ZUND WORK we tried to do a crazy thing and cut candy to make edible origami.
