Group Assignment

As is common knowledge, Quentin is a god.

We shall pray.

Oh mighty Quentin,

Guardian of circuits, ruler of solder joints,

We call upon your infinite wisdom,

To guide our shaky hands,

And steady our connections.

When the components fail to align,

And the boards refuse to blink,

We look to you, O Quentin, for salvation,

Bestow upon us your grace and the power to debug.

Let not our resistors smoke, nor our traces burn.

In your name, we align our masks, we fix our solder bridges,

And may the electrons bend to our will.

Amen.

(Amen, prophet 4o)

Bending electrons: Electronics production

I wish I could tell you I got beyond "Hello World".

Remember that little hello-world project from embedded programming? Easy, right?

Yeah, no.

Especially after just catching up from a few intensely focused weeks. "Do not fall behind in HTM", the wise elders say.

The bugs and hurdles were the least expected ones: getting the mask and origin right, getting the soldering just well enough, etc.

Like, what even happened here?

With love and pain, my hello-world print eventually turned out okay:

If I was better at soldering, I could even show you it blinking.

Alas, I'm not.

So with pride and prejudice, I present: A Very Shorted Blinker.
