I started with the Future Imperfect template from https://html5up.net/ cause I liked the aesthetic and the design of its posts page for my project descriptions. I did a pretty big overhaul from the starting template. The template itself had a lot more than what I needed so I stripped away the html elements I wasn't planning to use and got rid of the corresponding js/css to simplify the code. I used a lot of css to make the home page and format the projects page. I kept the post pages (like this one) pretty much the same though. I then adjusted the css to be responsive so my website can be viewed on mobile or on a computer. I also added the construction worker emoji as my favicon.
