Our first assignment for the week was to cut a vinyl sticker. I used adobe illustrator to make a very simple image. I'm planning to print a backing in white with a black text layor on top.

I used the vinyl cutter to cut the two layers separately and then transferred the black layer onto the white using transfer paper. The way I saved the png didn't leave any space around the side edges so the vinyl cutter didn't fully cut it out. I fixed it before I cut out the white layer but if you look closely you can see where I manually cut the black layer.

If I have the time, I'll remake the sticker but smaller to fit better on my laptop.

I fixed the issue I had with not cutting the sides and cut a smaller version to put on my laptop.
