Week 4:3D printing and scanning

Overview

I have decided to move forward with making a digital camera over an electronic instrument for My final project. Because of this, I thought it would be a good idea to 3d print my final project prototype on this week's assignments. I also did some scans of things I keep at my desk.

Work process

To get my camera to a 3d print, I used Prusa slicer in EDS lab to get this printed. Surprisingly, I didn't have to do much since the software created the support and filling for me.

Challenges

I definitely ran into a lot of trouble with the scanner. Someone in the EDS lab tried helping me capture a good scan, but the software kept rotating the image. I likely didn't position the board spinner and object correctly.
