Cybersigilism Vinyl Stickers!:

Assignment 2: Cut something with the vinyl cutter

I like the cybersigilism art style, so I wanted to make some stickers along that vibe.

Fortuna Sketch
Inkscape lets you convert images into bitmaps where you can easily modify the vectors. Using an asset (linked above), I tweaked it and added text (Lexie Liu’s album name).

Transfer Paper
To turn the vinyl into a sticker, I first used transfer paper to cleanly get the cut portion off the vinyl. Because my design had a lot of fine ‘branches’, it was hard to do so cleanly, as shown above.

Sticker
Next, I put the transfer paper over my computer to “transfer” the sticker onto my computer. After applying pressure to get things to stick down, I carefully peeled off the transfer paper layer and excess sticker to get the following results!
