I wanted to make something more sculptural and random, so I chose blender to make my 3D model. I love Blender for making abstract forms.

I used displace modifire on subdivided sphere. Modifire contains procedural black and white texture, which distorts the geometry.

In my architecture school we use dremel 3D printer. I made a preview and sliced it to see how the support will work.

Sometimes it is very hard to detach support if the form is complex. But my coral sphere separated very well.

The support itself looks very cool too!
