As OCTOABBY, my first project was an obvious one. I started with an existing drawing of my octopus keychain design.
After setting up the Cricut Maker 3 with some black matte sticker vinyl, I uploaded a png of my drawing. For some reason... it isolated every line in my drawing and separated them, placing them in a line. I kept trying to reupload and change the settings, but to no avail. So, I had to arrange my octopus manually in the Cricut software. Not the worst fail ever, but kind of annoying...
Once it was all rearranged, I was ready to cut! Yippee!
I selected Vinyl Removable Matte as my material and set up the sticky mat.
"Slice, slice!" the Cricut said.
In a flash, my beautiful octopus was born. I peeled it off the sheet and it found a permanent home on my notepad.
