This week focused on large-scale fabrication using computer-controlled machinery. Explored CAM software, G-code programming, and tool path optimization while creating both artistic and functional projects with the woodshop mill.

I wanted to cut a large (1.5m) MDF sword for a costume prop, but the small overhangs and edges made it difficult to fit into the specifications for the mill itself. Still, I intend to cut this out of wood during wildcard week for the costume I am making. Stay tuned!
