Internet 0 Demodulation by Mathematical Programming
Internet 0 demodulation poses interesting problems in asynchronous
blind multiuser detection of slow ultrawide band communications. In
the Internet 0 communication, we assume receiver has no prior information of transmitter's data rate, byte-by-byte serial communication. Rather than dividing detection procedure to different function blocks such as detection, synchronization, the entire detection problem is formulated as a constrained optimization problem. For the single user in the presence of pulse position noise, the optimization can be solved effeciently by relaxing the
optimization problem which uses global constraints to a simple least
square estimation using framing pulses.
