About
Week of 04/12
This week we heard back from the Biomakerspace with some good news - they don't see any problems getting
approvals and are submitting the paperwork to get EHS approval. Hopefully in the next week or two we can
get into the lab to cultivate our bacteria!

This means ramping back up work on the bioreactor to have it ready to go to do some testing. One of the key
components is the peristaltic pump for precise liquid flow.
I need to make a few tolerance tweaks. The system was fairly loud and one of the bearings was fixed too tight
causing the silicone tubing to be pulled through. Overall I was able to get a flow rate between 30ml/min and
100ml/min.
