Week 12

Mazhine Building

This week, our group embarked on an ambitious and innovative project: constructing a machine that prints New York Times headlines onto toilet paper. Our goal was to merge the utility of everyday items with the influx of daily news, creating a unique product that brings a new perspective to consuming news.

Me and Nasibe was responsible for manifacturing and assembly, first we needed to analyze 3D design and prepare the files.

Then we started 3D printing some parts and waterjet cutting the plastic components.

After that we started assembly, we needed to change many parts, we made additional holes and changed the location of the mechanism a little bit.
