WEEK 0 (CADding Final Project)
One of my ideas for a final project is to build a solar powered boat. For this week, I am CADding a simpler boat, with the goal of eventually adding in solar panels.
As can be shown below, the CAD is fairly simple. A double hull format is chosen for increaseed stability compared to a single hull. 4 fans are placed along a column to serve as propulsion, with a triblade fan.
An airboat design is chosen as, although less efficient, they are less likely to experience biofouling/trapping in weeds compared to aquatic motors, and also have fewer waterproofing considerations/concerns.
