For machine building week, we made an automated Nerf turret. I was responsible for the yaw/tilt mechanism but as one of the few willing to sacrifice sleep I ended up contributing to the control PCB (for everything, integration hell), firmware and tuning.
I went with a very simple design that's extremely fast to modify and manufacture if we need to change something during integration. It revolves around the DS3225MG Servos and every part is laser-cut from 6mm acrylic.
