Week 10: Output Devices
A Mystery for You

“A Mystery for You” is a generative scenario-based Fact Checking Game powered by an Open AI LLM and a Mini Thermal Printer. With this unique tangible game interface, you take on the role of a Citizen Fact Checker and build your investigative skills as you find the truth (and falsehoods) behind the alerts and updates printed out for you. Over 7 game days, you use action cards from your toolkit to learn more about the involved actors and circulating media, putting together the facts to make an informed verdict!

...

By pressing the hidden buttons in the two slots using any pair of cards, users can input a choice he or she makes during the game, which will be sent to ChatGPT to get responses. The thermal printer integrated to this device will print out the responses.
So, basically, the input devices are multiple buttons and the output device is a thermal printer.

Without calibrating the height of the endmill, the machine is literally cutting the air.

It's my first to use the Roland CNC machine at REEF. It worked well!

Soldering
... Flux is your friend! ... Start soldering ... More soldering ... The first PCB worked but I forgot to add some pins on it so I remade one. ... The second PCB worked well except for the pins for SD module were not connected to the right pins on Pro Micro.
