Using the ancient form of cone mosaics to create a prototype for a larger public installation

Using Mods to drive the Roland

Cutting the wax with finished pass 1/32 flat bit

2 molds made using OOMOOOO from the single wax part

Mold parts held together with wood and clamps

Cast parts using USG Drystone

Parts came out with some registration issues (should have created registration lip)

Laser cut board to illustrate installation approach

Cone Mosaics inserted into frame
