Nathan Melenbrink

Nathan Melenbrink is an architect and computational designer, currently pursuing a Masters in Design Studies (Technology) at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. His previous professional experience includes UNStudio Shanghai, Playze China Co. Ltd., OCEAN.CN, and the East China Architectural Design & Research Institute in Shanghai. For the past two years he has served as a part-time Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong’s Shanghai Study Centre. He earned a professional BArch degree from Virginia Tech and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Previous academic experience includes parametric urbanism research at the University of Hong Kong, as well as a visiting tutorship at the University of Nottingham (Ningbo, China), the Architectural Association’s Shanghai Summer School, and an Adjunct Faculty position at Virginia Tech.
