I live between the lines of art, science, design and technology.
Utilizing tools from hardware, wetware and software, I explore relationships between humans and seemingly disparate systems across domains and scales. How does a single material propagate itself across economies, cultures and functions? Why are networks ubiquitous across systems from neurology to highways and circuits? Why do ants produce particular flavor molecules that are also prevalent in some plants we consume? I make devices, interactions, artifacts, tools, experiences, perceptions, environments and experiments that express my obsession with bridging these relationships. Sometimes utilitarian, other times sensorial, but surely all devices for probing curiosity, asking questions, and discovering connections to between here and tomorrow.
