This week was all about building machines from the machines (and only the machines) we have in the shop to do digital fab, a trailer of the CBA’s follow up course How to Make Anything That Makes Anything.

We had only one week, so teamed up as a shop section and adopted a lot of the design that one of the CBA students had done. So our work was based on this which was based on this. Those are cool reads on their own to get a good sense of what has to happen here.

Switch over to the Harvard shop site to see where documentation for this week is detailed.

While I had hoped to work on the tinyG (here and here), a CNC controller board that has all the drivers for motors (stepper motors) built-in, I only was able to work on assembly. Until another time…

I also sat down with Brian this week so I could really start to get after my final project.
