Mask Glow
A mask ( or a filter) that could detect coronavirus droplets in the air.
SHERLOCK relies on fluorescence signals (in this case, GFP could be used as a reporter RNAs, and when it cleaves by T7 polymerase emit green fluorescence light). In the presence of the viral RNA, the solution emits fluorescent lights and changes its color.
> In addition, freeze-drying or lyophilized lead to preserve DNA reagents for a long-time and re-active them at room temperature. Gootenberg demonstrated that SHERLOCK are also amenable to freeze-drying and they also demonstrated that the lyophilized experiment is comparable to levels of sensitive detection of ssRNA as other aqueous reactions (Gootenberg, 2017).
