This week we did Electroporation to insert plasmid into cell.
Hardware Ready
So we are told not to document our homemade electroporator, but the device was super fun to make!
Workspace Organized
Keeping our tubes labeled and organized because we messed up the labels last week! Lesson learnt, no harm done!

Pipetting experts
We organized the 16 tubes with SOC to but the samples in after electroporation.
Foil Ready
We covered two acrylic sheets in aluminum foil and connected one alligator clip from our electroporation device to each of the two foils.
Ready for the sample
We're ready to put the sample between the two foiled covered acrylic sheets to apply a 1700V/mm electric field to the samples!
