Assignment: Materials and Joining Project:
Tasks: 1. I placed a flicker safety light into melted, Hot-Melt Reusable Peel-Away Coating
Style E, 1 lb, 350 Degree F Dipping Temerature I used the bottom of a cut-off soda can. The
light did not fair too well as it began to melt as I placed it into the
Hot-Melt. I can't seem to get it to turn on either. 2. I dipped a pair of pliers into some 1.5 Ounce, Clear Multipurpose Solvent-Based Rubber
Coating (Same as 9560T7) It is difficult to see the coating on the pliers.
I also applied some to a pair of cotton gloves to create "grip-gloves" and
that seemed to work pretty well.
