Shannon Rusbuldt is a professional model previously with Elite New York and married to Joe Fredo of the Tommy Hilfiger family. Shannon has worked on campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Von Dutch and Pantene Pro-V, among a list of many others. Her younger brother, Robbie Rusbuldt, is the bassist in Safety Word Orange, a band that has played Van’s Warped Tour and is well on their way to becoming the next teen heart throbs. Both have been close friends since I was eight years old, so when the opportunity arose to help them along, I jumped at it.

What I did

Shannon Rusbuldt needed a new website designed and implemented in exchange for free Tommy Hilfiger clothing. Shannon needed something simple, with large pictures, that would allow her to update her fans on products she likes, clothing she loves and accessories she can’t live without. For that, I found a wordpress theme called Viewport by Smashing Magazine that fit the bill perfectly. Viewport has large images on the front page and functionality to boot. It’s the best solution given the lower resolution images I had to work with. In the end, I think it turned out quite nicely. There are still some tweaks to be made, but those can come with time.
