Wildcard week - inflatables

Alex Waller and I made this ridiculous thing

Since tentacled forms seem to respond well to inflated material, we embarked on a very efficient system for making many tentacles. We cut four pairs of rectangular ripstop nylon, maximizing the use of available bright orange material.

To make the fabrication efficient, we sewed the material before cutting, avoiding having to make separate cone-shaped parts and attaching them to a body. Each pair of nylon sheets makes eight tentacles: four long fingery ones and four short stubby ones.
