About

hi, my name is Camron Blackburn! I'm currently a first year masters student in the Center for Bits and Atoms where I focus on making tiny things with laser machining. Before coming here, I was at Veritone building deep learning models that control more specified machine learning models to create a single pipline for general AI tasks. Before that, I built tractor beams in Prof David Grier's lab while getting a BA in physics at NYU.

Now, I'm taking Neil's infamous How to Make (almost) Anything course to learn how all the everyday objects work and build them with a (hopefully) creative spin. While familiar in concept and theory, most of these topics are totally new to me in practice. So wish me luck as I assimilate into the maker space and you can check out my work on the projects page!
