3D Scanning and Printing
Inspiration:
My first 3D design and print circa 2006 or so was this little goat.
I thought of using the an animal image to make a stamp with an ink well
that won’t dry out.
Sketch | Practice Fusion 360:
I learned to make threading and added features to make a stamp, insuring that the eventual
ink pad added to this part will be sealed under the threads.
Process | Fusion 360:
After some practice I made a final draft and added the sheep image by importing an
.stl file from Illustrator.
Project | 3D Printing:
Sent to print on a Prusa3D, the diameter for the “bolt” here is 16mm.
Fabrication | 3D Printing:
Print No. 2 three times as large to really show the contour of the sheep.
Project | Threaded Sheep Stamp:
Stamping in action!
