Machine Week
As seen in the Harvard website we made a bleach printer and what I worked on was mainly materials, nozzle, and documentation.
I had worked on the first iteration of the nozzle in Fusion 360, using the measurements that were provided by Zach, then using the hole tool in order to add a hole at a specific diameter and angle.
Although we never ended up using bleach, I had come to the realization that no one in my group has ever dyed clothing or bleach dyed things, which at that moment I was working on a hand dying project for the first time with multiple techniques. So I brought in some materials and was doing the testing to figure out the best nozzle type as well as ratios to use, and how to handle the material after the bleach has been applied.
We determined that something like a brush or marker would have been ideal, as well as the best ratios. Which most of this can be seen on our website.
Then on the night before the demo I was working on the Bleach page for the documentation.
