miranda makes things! Week 5

Week 5

This week we learned about electronics design. I designed my own PCB! For the group assignment, Alan and Nik showed me and a group of others how an oscilloscope works, and Ben helped me put that knowledge into practice by making me touch the knobs with my own fingers instead.

For my individual assignment I designed two PCBs to implement the arrow pad portion of my tiny DDR machine. I wanted to make it so that the pads don’t depress when pressed, but are still able to sense the pressure of a finger to register a dance move.
