Make a Mantis Milling Machine [CBA Section Group Project]

 

This week we cut and assembled David Carr's Mantis milling machine in four sessions. Our group assembled the x-axis and y-axis pieces. I was amazed out how easily everything went together. Except for expoxying the bushings on, ours ended up stuck to the slides - but were eventually freed through brute force.
