3D print

For 3D printing, I decided to test out the tolerances on different printer with precise features. I made a 3D magnetic drawing board that cuts clay. See how it works above.

The main part that can not be made with traditional manufacturing is the top piece where the metal ball rest, there is a undercut that let the ball rest in.

Process:

The inital test fitting is done on a small portion of the whole assembly to save time.

This is the final assembly.

For 3D scanning, I scanned a toy car I found in my home. I used a free software on the app store.
