This week we're looking machine design and are building the components to make a automated magnetic chess table. This week is a group effort, and I worked with Shaun Salzberg, Austin Lee, Jin Joo Lee, and Sujoy Chowdhury. My role this week was to design and fabricate the support beams that attached to the threaded robs and move the magnetic pedestal across the playing area.
