How to Make Almost Anything

My journey through the MIT course

Prusa MK3 Replica

I got a great deal on a prusa mk3 from Facebook marketplace. it was a fully working prusa mk3 along with a bunch of parts that almost make up a second prusa mk3. I decided to build a second prusa mk3 with the parts I got.

What I Made

I cut out the pieces of prusa frame using a waterjet cutter. Prusa generously provide all the design file on github. the y-carriage plate was cut from 1/4" aluminum. the rear and front plates were cut from 3/16" mild steel

what remains for the frame is the main large part that holds it together which is too large to cut on the waterjet cutter, as well as sourcing 3030 aluminum extrusions
