Ermal Dreshaj

Ermal is a graduate student and research assistant in the Object-based Media Group at the MIT Media Lab.  He was one of the original members of the Perceptual Computing initiative at Intel Corp. where he worked as a prototype engineer and later a product manager.

He is interested in the design of products that promote quality of life and his research covers a wide range of HCI subjects, including the use of technology to study visual perception, embedding sensors into everyday objects and applications of digital holography.

Ermal earned his BS in Computer Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio.
