I’m a Graduate Research Assistant in the
Community Biotechnology Initiative at the MIT Media Lab. My research is about community-driven design of living technologies, with a focus on enabling renewable energy solutions and local bio-based materials production. For
MAS.864 I'm very excited to get full exposure to the canvas of tools, programs and methodologies, and the rigorous hands-on skill building activities. Within the course I'd like to explore the interplay between 'traditional' fabrication and emerging open-source biotechnology, both from a process and technology development perspective.
