3D MODELING MY FINAL PROJECT
At first, I thought it’d be easiest to 3D model an attachment piece like a candle for later 3D printing, but I soon realized all the natural shapes and forms were wayy harder to make than thinking about a form factor for my device. I had a lot of fun modeling using Fusion’s “Form” feature that allows for more sculptural CADing.

I had a lot of fun modeling using Fusion’s “Form” feature that allows for more sculptural CADing.

Fast forwards to the future, I thought of the physical design of my Tarot Guide and drew some sketches from different angles to get a better idea of what i was looking to model. I then went into Fusion, and designed the device with the main constraint being the size of the cards (3.5” x 4.0”). I made sure to also download my electrical components that would mount into my form factor such as: PN532 & MFRC522 Rfid Readers, 4.0” LED Module, and button! I also included corners for my PCB to mount into on the base of the device once I had a solid plan for the PCB. left a slot in the back for the electrical chord.

Ultimately, I just wanted the piece to be clean of electrical housing issues so I wanted to make sure there was ample room within the device form factor, despite the inconvenience with the size while 3d printing!
