How to Make (Almost) Anything

3D Scanning and 3D Printing

1. 3D Scanning

For 3D scanning, I decided to scan the two elements that are most dominant in the path I am taking every day to school: the huge columns in building 7 and the trees. I am so sick of having to look at them that I am glad that I can at least manipulate them digitally to create my own recomposition of a column-tree element and actually create a 3d printed physical object of it.

2. 3D Printing

After editing the mesh in Meshlab and Rhino, I printed the part of the column.
