I'm a first-year Master's student in the Responsive Environments group at the MIT Media Lab. I'm a computer scientist and programmer interested in systems. I enjoy learning and like being a generalist.

I have a fabrication background -- the family business is in sheet metal, I did tech theatre for many years (carpentry, lighting), and I was a software engineer at Tulip Interfaces (manufacturing startup) for several years.

I'm taking how to make in order to fill out the skills I'm not familiar with (machining, casting, mold-making, robotics, composites), and for the training in the CBA shop.
