Week 10: Machine Building

For machine week, the CBA section decided to make a decision making machine. I began the project as part of the Software Team and Website Team and worked on getting a camera operating with OpenCV. I ended up doing less software than anticipated and instead ended up working on making the base for the machine.

I milled out a piece of HDPE on the Shopbot, and then designed a system for installing the brackets that Kye designed and manufactured. Me and Nina ended up making counter bore holes on the drill press to attach the brackets and aluminum extrusions to the base so that the bottom stays flush.

I then began working on the documentation website using bootstrap and javascript.
