Paper Mountain

The mountain was made from lasercut paper (cardstock, vellum, and tissue), wood, and clear acrylic. The lake by the mountain lights up with increasing intensity and different colors depending on the ambient light of its surroundings. Custom electronics were milled on a Roland Modela MDX-20.

Finished mountain!
I designed the mountain in Blender and used Pepakura Designer (Japanese papercraft software) to cut it into sections for lasercutting. For the electronics, I built a Fabduino and custom module boards for both the Neopixels and the photoresistor.
