Our assignment this week was to
build a machine. Our group decided to build a laser drawing machine and capture the movement with long exposure photography. First, we built the basic axes for the machine to move. I helped lasercut the pieces and assemble them. After the initial assembly, we split into various sub-groups. I joined team Laser EE, tasked with selecting a laser, creating a board to control it, and programming the board to accept input from the path planning team. Our team's work can be found on our
