About Me
Hi! My name is Kristin. I’m studying Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Design at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I’m interested in making things- in whatever form a project may take. I have worked with a variety of media and techniques in projects both through the class How to Make (Almost) Anything and through my extracurricular activities, hobbies, project-based classes, and random just-for-fun side projects. My projects range from life-sized papier-mâché dragons to 3D printed creatures the size of a nickel to circuits with components as small as a grain of rice; I’m always up for exploring a new medium or method of creation. When I’m not studying or making things, I enjoy reading, writing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and caring for animals on my family’s dairy farm.
