NETWORKING AND COMMUNICATIONS- week13 |
|
|
This week I worked on networking and communications. I had my potentiometer generate txt file. I connected my laptop to another mac-mini through ethernet cable and had the public folder shared. The idea was to have an Fabduino generate the input value through the txt file and have another arduino connected to the other computer to have an output using the txt file. I was able to generate txt files successfully, and have the networked computer read the txt file. However, it only read once and would not continue to obtain the value. Another issue was the unstability of the potentiometer's value. My solution was to use Griffin Technology's PowerMate knob. I was able to customize the knob value to become mouseX input. Here is the source code. |
