| FINAL PROJECT - week15 |
| For my final project, I ended up making an imaginative future teleconference system. For example, in this system, you'd be able to shift your viewpoint freely and share AR contents via the virtual shared work space. I decided to create a proof-of-concept demo for this idea. My story set up for the presentation was that the user was having a skype conference with Wall-E the robot version 75 which was in microscale working in a environment under 1mm height, somewhere in the outerspace. |

| Future Direction |
| For future project, I aim to provide a shared platform that allows collaborators to share 3D contents seamlessly over distance. The research first will analyze gaze interactions for 3D contents in real world settings and apply some of the key aspects of gaze features that allow remote collaboration around 3D contents to the design. The goal is to establish new interaction techniques for shared idea-sketching experiences by introducing spatiotemporal dimensions to content sharing. The project focuses on supporting collaboration amongst remote or collocated users through tangible approaches that connect the interpersonal space with shared workspace. Heavily inspired by TeamWorkStaion and ClearBoard, the project will explore the use of image recognition technologies for augmenting 3D contents, IR sensors to detect tangible handles and Augmented Reality techniques to provide seamless transformation of the shared visual contents from 2D to 3D, and introduce new interaction techniques such as dynamic perspective view shifting integrated with “3D gaze awareness” feature. |

| The Opening |
| We did a show at the Media Lab on the 6th floor. I was really glad that I was able to take the How To Make (Almost) Anything course, and highly recommend everyone to check out the course archive for an amazing collection of resources. |
